Needsmith is a one-person studio shipping fully-featured iOS apps for the needs the App Store keeps overlooking. Each one starts as a search that came back empty.

A single up-front purchase unlocks the app on every iPhone signed into your Apple ID. Forever — or as long as iOS keeps running it.

02 · Freemium, when it fits

Try the basics free.

Many Needsmith apps will be free to download with the core features included. Pay once to unlock the full feature set — no rented tiers, no “Plus.”

03 · Major upgrades

Big jumps may have a price.

If a future version is a substantial rebuild — new platform, ground-up rewrite — it might ship as a separate paid upgrade. The app you bought today still works.

04 · No tricks

No subscriptions. Ever.

No monthly fees, no hidden tiers, no holding your data hostage. If it ever changes, this section will say so first — in plain language.

CamStamp

The date, time, and place — burned right into the photo.

Take a photo and CamStamp burns the timestamp and GPS location directly into the image — no metadata that gets stripped, no separate caption file.

Already have photos? Point CamStamp at your library and it batch-stamps them with their original EXIF date and location.

Email support@needsmith.com with the app name in the subject line. I read everything personally and reply within a few days.

Everything stays on your device. Needsmith apps don’t use accounts or cloud sync, and they don’t phone home with analytics.

Eventually. iOS comes first because that’s where I needed each app most. Mac and web follow when they make sense.

Refund requests go through Apple — open the App Store app, tap your profile, then Purchase History → Report a Problem. If something’s broken, email me first and I’ll try to fix it.
